The overview

During summer 2025, bluewaterCODE provided MrCreole with a temporary online ordering solution for its Detroit food truck operation. The engagement had a clear purpose: give customers a digital way to order without creating an unnecessarily complicated technology project.

The challenge

Food trucks have different needs from fixed-location restaurants. Schedules, locations, and service requirements can change quickly, so the ordering setup had to fit a short-term operating need.

What bluewaterCODE did

We deployed a practical digital ordering option that customers could use alongside the food truck’s service. The scope matched the business’s immediate requirements and the planned lifespan of the engagement.

This was a temporary deployment for the 2025 summer operation. The case study reflects that period rather than presenting the system as a current, ongoing service.

The scope

  • Temporary online ordering deployment
  • Customer-facing ordering experience
  • Restaurant ordering infrastructure
  • Configuration around food truck operations
