The overview
Access Atlas starts with a practical idea: people should be able to find relevant accessibility information before they arrive somewhere. bluewaterCODE developed an initial software experience that connects location discovery with individual access requirements.
The challenge
Accessibility information is scattered, incomplete, and different for each person. The product needed to organize mobility, dietary, nutritional, medical, and other access considerations without reducing every user’s needs to one checklist.
What bluewaterCODE did
We developed the product around personalized profiles, location information, search, filtering, accessibility categories, reviews, and ratings. These elements give the experience a structure for relating a place to the information a person is looking for.
The interactive map makes geographic exploration part of that workflow. It connects the interface, place data, and community-contributed experiences in a single application, supported by product design, branding, and software architecture.
The scope
- Product strategy and UI/UX
- Custom web application and architecture
- Personal accessibility profile concepts
- Location discovery, search, and filtering
- Interactive map and location information
- Community reviews and ratings
- Brand development
THE NEXT CHAPTER
The outcome
The initial MVP demonstrates how personal profiles, location data, reviews, and a map can work together as a product foundation. Information about a location is not a medical assessment or a guarantee that it will meet every need.
